The EDT Team was selected to perform architecture and engineering services by Airhost, Inc. for the Beer Garden Restaurant at Huntsville International Airport. EDT-THA Architecture was the Project Architect/Project Manager on this 2,104 SF restaurant, consisting of intense coordination due to security and FAA codes and guidelines. EDT-THA Architecture was also the lead Interior Designer, whose focus was to select finishes and furnishings that fostered a warm/welcoming ambiance to travelers, in contrast to the bright concourse. All interior selections were made carefully for durability in a high traffic hospitality environment. Engineering Design Technologies performed the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services.
EDT-THA's Interior Designer Danae Qualls, won the Bronze award in the Hospitality Category of the Design Excellence Awards for their Beer Garden Project in the Huntsville International Airport.
