Anne Arundel County hired Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. (EDT) to perform QA/QC inspections of coatings contractor’s surface preparation and coatings application of each pump station facility. As part of the County’s requirements, EDT was asked to analyze pipe coatings and suggest necessary coating rehabilitation projects for the County’s consideration. EDT approved coatings contractor estimates made from the coatings rehab assessment, coordinated with County Engineering and Operations to schedule work and site access and maintained daily QA/QC logs of work completed and inspection data collected. EDT communicated with County operators and project managers about task order progress, issues that occurred, scheduling acceptance walk throughs and rework requests. EDT completed all deliverable reporting on time and coordinated warranty walk throughs.
